Testosterone Injections are a vital component of hormone replacement therapy. Core Medical Group provides four types of testosterone injections:</p>
1. Cypionate: A Closer Look
Cypionate – DEPO – Testosterone Injection, for intramuscular injection, contains testosterone cypionate. Testosterone cypionate is a white or creamy white crystalline powder, odorless or nearly so, and stable in air. It is insoluble in water, freely soluble in alcohol, chloroform, dioxane, ether, and soluble in vegetable oils. Specialists often use this product in HRT injectables, most commonly as an indictable delivery method. It is the mildest with the most minor side effects of all Testosterone. When they inject this long-acting version of Testosterone, it becomes stored in what we know as a depot in the body and it slowly releases it over a short time. One or two days after injection, the system steadily releases the Testosterone over the next 12 days and completely tapers out after approximately three weeks.
2. Enanthate: The Anabolic Powerhouse
Testosterone Enanthate is an anabolic steroid with extremely high anabolic and androgenic effects. It is a long-acting injectable testosterone. Users can take Injections of Testosterone Enanthate once weekly, with a dosage of 200. Testosterone Enanthate has a release time of between 8-10 days. It is typically injected once every one to three weeks, though some users opt for a twice-a-week frequency. This version of Testosterone will cause the usual side effects associated with Testosterone, including hair loss, acne, gynecomastia, and eventual cessation of the body’s natural testosterone production. We can associate many of these side effects (if not attributed) with converting Testosterone into Dihydrotestosterone and estrogen.
3. Propionate: The Shortest Marvel
Testosterone Propionate is the shortest testosterone preparation available on the market currently. It does everything you’d expect from Testosterone but anecdotally promotes less water retention than more extended product versions.
4. Testosterone Blend (Sustanon): A Solution
There are two advantages to combining multiple esters in the same formulation as Sustanon does. Here, using multiple esters allows the relatively high total concentration of 250 mg/mL without requiring a large percentage of solubility enhancers in the vehicle. More generally, the solubilities of different steroid esters are nearly independent. For example, if a vehicle (oil plus solubility enhancers) could dissolve 100 mg/mL of one steroid ester alone or 100 mg/mL of another. It could dissolve 200 mg/mL total as a combination of both.
The Power and Influence of Testosterone: From Masculine Characteristics to Health Impacts and Medical Applications
A “male hormone” – a sex hormone produced by the testes that encourages the development of male sexual characteristics, stimulates the activity of the male secondary sex characteristics and prevents changes in them following castration. Chemically, Testosterone is 17-beta-hydroxy-4-androstene-3-one. Testosterone is the most potent of the naturally occurring androgens. The androgens cause the development of male sex characteristics, such as a deep voice and a beard; they also strengthen muscle tone and bone mass. High levels of Testosterone promote good health in men, for example, lowering the risks of high blood pressure and heart attack. High testosterone levels also correlate with risky behavior. Testosterone may be given to treat medical conditions, including female (but not male) breast cancer, hypogonadism (low gonadal function) in the male, cryptorchism, and menorrhagia.
